Lonely Survivor user reviews :

Its a 2 star game, major issue when you take a good concept and turn it into a cashgrab for fools, there is no endless play, all the levels become harder and harder just for you to buy ridiculous offers which states you dont have to worry about coins again thats only 80k i spent just now 200k coins in a matter of seconds. The enemy is always faster than you even with the speed upgrades, its shameful exploit to stretch a good concept like this.

Very addictive gameplay, very frustrating problem: levels are 15 minutes long in many cases plus boss battles so up to 20 mins. If for some reason you have to leave the game due to a phone call or needing to look something up and the game reloads, it asks if you want to continue your level, then starts it from the beginning. If you fail a level, you start from the beginning that’s kind of understandable, but there should be some kind of progress checkpoint when you don’t lose and the app closes

This is a solid strategic movement game with good graphics and constantly changing game-play: a classic and well orchestrated rogue-like. My biggest frustration comes from the fact that the game will only allow you to watch so many ads per day. One does not NEED to watch ads to play, but does need to watch in order to get the best gear and the most money, or to continue playing once you die. When the ads shut off, progression for daily quests and seasonal events.

It’s a fun game for a little bit, but then you hit a soft wall that can only be overcome by paying. The game bombards you with things to pay for, and merely switching tabs gives you more popups. You can watch ads to get a minuscule amount of free stuff. The actual gameplay is fun and feels like a power fantasy at first. It’s almost entirely a numbers game and requires almost no thought nor skill. The game is worth playing if you want just some genocidal feelgoods for a bit.

Art style is nice and the game feels smooth to run. There is also a variety of characters to encourage long term playing. However the levels feels like it was not play tested. Though the enemies gain more health and movement speed to give the feel of progression, it seems that the amount spawned in was not adjusted. This leads to lag and a frustrating experience seeing each enemy entity suddenly clipping and pushed towards player character. Either lack of play testing, or promoting pay to win.

This game is unfinished. The background during gameplay makes old Flash games like Bike Mania look like a Norman Rockwell. It’s a cash grab, as well. There is no option to go ad-free, and the premium items and bundles are overabundant and overpriced (up to $99.) However, the free rewards are generous and accessible. The gameplay is crazy and outrageous–enemies often have HP literally in the millions. The enemy count within a single round exceeds 10,000. So, it’s a fun ride for a few days.

The gameplay loop is a roguelike survival. It is enjoyable with its dynamic upgrade system during the levels and gearing options outside of them. There are some events and alternative modes which are a nice addition. My biggest gripes are the horrible implementation of ads on basically all daily ‘freebies’, alongside very stingy summoning currency distribution. This causes improvement to go very slowly, even at the start of the game. Worth playing for a little bit until the grind starts.
