Update. Hit an issue with sub folders. Creating a sub folder is fine but when I move a song to it the app crashes, leaving no folder when relaunching. Running on my OnePlus 6. Android 11, OxygenOS 11.1.2.2. Galaxy A52 5G work phone does not exhibit this issue. – Still happy though and this is a minor irritant. This is the best ad free metronome app I’ve found. It’s ideal for gigs, where I feed it through the mixer and route to my IEM. Still finding my way round it a little but so far so good.

Impressive metronome app! From the moment you open it and you see all options it offers without annoying adds, it’s fantastic!!

This is the best metronome app out there. I especially like the option of silence between clicks. For instance, you can have two measures of clicks and two measures of silence. It’s great for building internal timing. Highly highly recommend

Intuitive. Layout is excellent as are many unexpected & thoughtful features. Simple to use yet has the ability to create AND SAVE complex rhythms as well as different sound assignment setups. All sounds can be edited. It’s a small drum machine. I recommend this without hesitation.

I wanted to like this. Simple UI. Worked one session well. But whatever timing code it uses is *not* steady when there’s other random activity on the system. I tried rebooting, killing processes, etc.. A metronome has one job – keeping steady time – and this one sadly disappoints. Looking for others…

Not JUST a metronome! Lots of learning to be had just by using this metronome and trying out various features.

Does everything you’d want it to, with some extras even. Only issue might be with very slow tempos the pitch of the metronome itself drops drastically. This can be prevented, however by upping the pitch and skipping every other beat.

Fantastic app. No adds. Decent amount of features including adjustable accents, sounds and subdivisions of beats.

Works well. Has many options, but is confusing at first to learn how to set the options.

So far, this is a great app. I’ve been using it since this afternoon and it is very clean and simple, yet it’s capability is out of this world. You can go to a whole new level of customizing your beats. I would definitely recommend this app to a friend or family member.

A good metronome is a hard master; this is indeed a fairly good one. Pleased with the extra timing features (I’m used to an old-fashioned mechanical metronome), and relatively pleased with the ease with which it can be configured. It’s well worth reviewing the settings on first use; not all the defaults suited me, for instance. Thanks are due to the developer for a response to an enquiry.

  • Hi! you can fix the in the settings (gear icon lower left) – keep playing in background.
it used to be one of the best metronome apps. with with the latest update it doen’t show bpm in the main window. so you have to clear the data in settings->apps and you have to do it every time..

  • Hi! Sorry to hear about you problem. But I can’t remeber any change in the visualization of the bpm. They should always be visible in the bpm wheel on top of the screen. Maybe you have encountered a new bug. Can you describe what is displayed on your device?

Just downloaded this app, after the batteries ran out on my regular metronome, and I love it. It was really intuitive to use and, even though I’m not particularly tech savvy, I was straight into it. I do have a musical background, so understand the musical notation. However, I reckon a non music reader would get it just by listening and seeing how the beats fit with the patterns.

I downloaded this once before and got rid of it because I wasn’t pleased with how it worked, exactly. But you’ve really improved this. There are a few optimizations and extra things that you might add to it, but this is pretty darn good. The Arrangements feature is fantastic for practising time signatue changes. Tempo changes (a la “Stairway”) are a little more difficult to do in it, but completely possible. That covers a lot of territory in music practice, speaking as a classical guitarist.
