The actual games are fun, enjoyable, and function well. The app has a cute aesthetic, which I find appealing. However, the game experiences a lot of lag or input delays in the homescreen and menus that is very noticeable and jarring. This is compounded by the fact that the tutorial requires you watch several thirty second ads to complete it. Said ads do not load quickly with wait times that are often longer then the ad its self. You will spend more time waiting on loading menus then games.

I was addicted to minigame paradise all those years ago and was sad to see it shut down. I’m so glad they’re bringing it back! Edit: I was excited, and it seems nice, but I haven’t been able to play a single minigame yet due to infinite loading screens and repeated network errors. Hope this gets fixed, will add more stars to review once I can actually play

Very fun! One thing that prevents it from being full stars is the fact that the little notifications bubbles on the icons don’t go away when I’ve looked at whatever they wanted me to look at. Especially the options menu ones. Like cool I got new music but that little circle there irritates me. And the ones on the purchase menu. I do not plan on spending more than maybe 5 dollars for some extra gems here and there. Do not put a bubble on them. I am not tapping them. Ever. Other than that, great!

Game does not load. I restarted, cleared cache, and reinstalled. I will uninstall until it starts to work. Edit: It started to work properly. It’s a bit convoluted but the characters are cute, the minigames are fun, and the whole game is very colorful. My issue with the game now is that it looks like there is no way to make friends without an ID and you need to make friends to complete a mission….

Everything thing I been waiting for on a mobile game. The style of the game is so cute and cheery. All the mini games are fun and easy to play expect two. Music is fun, charming and not annoying at all. Hopefully more characters and mini games come out down the road. You can pay for things but it doesn’t really feel like a play to win game. You can also pay to remove commericals, just wish there was a permanent fee instead of monthly.

Gosh, I remember when I played the older MGP as a kid and use to love it but got sad it was no longer up. Happy to see a revival of this game! It immediately gave me nostalgia in some of the minigames and characters. As for the new game, I liked it up until the loading screen. It stays there and gets pretty annoying though I understand since it just been released. Just fix that and we’re go to go!
