Permission Details:

“READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE” is required to read your media files in your primary & secondary storages.
“WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE” is required to rename or deletion of files and to store the downloaded subtitles.

“LOCATION” permission is required to help find nearby friends for file transfers.
“NETWORK” and “WIFI” permissions are required to get the network status which is required for various activities like license checking, update checking etc. Wifi connection is also used for faster file transfers.
“BLUETOOTH” permission is required in order to improve AV sync when Bluetooth headset is connected, and create connections for file transfers.
“CAMERA” permission is required to scan QR code for file transfers.
“INTERNET” is required to play internet streams.

“VIBRATE” is required to control the vibration feedbacks.
“WAKE_LOCK” is required to prevent your phone from sleeping while watching any video.
“KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES” is required to stop the MX Player services used in background play.
“DISABLE_KEYGUARD” is required to temporarily prevent secure screen lock when Kids Lock is used.
“SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW” is required to block some keys when Kids Lock is used.

MX Player user reviews :

This is the best video player I’ve ever seen but there is a problem in it.This app does not support EAC3 sound support which is a negative thing, except that everything is fine and please try to fix this problem in your next update and as soon as possible.

Hiccups here an their but it getting their CONS 1 Way too touch sensitive when scrolling a song cause I accidently press a song then wanting to scroll up/down an “ff” or “rw” a song. 2 Still have issue witch songs that have a High Pitch and 320 kbps. Pros 1 UI great 2 Few good function NEEDS 1 Double tap a song on ether playlist, folder, album… 2 Long press before “ff” or “rw” a song.

Everything is good except… Guys, H/W+ decoder is broken in 4.4 KitKat. I use SGS4 Google Edition (i9505G). I would be glad to see it fixed. Thanks for the great app. P.S. I’ll change to 5 stars after the fix.

Good :)) Its really good but my problem is when I’m playing a mp4 which is 100kb+ and I forward it to example 30mins, the player will auto close. Overall its really nice, it can play all of my videos.
