You can enjoy voice chat in different ways depending on the type of game you’re playing. Chat with everyone in your room or split voice chat into teams and have it out head-to-head! In games that support the Online Lounge feature, you can invite friends to play with you via social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Of course, you can easily invite your Nintendo Switch friends too!
Note: To use these services, a Nintendo Switch game compatible with this app is required. You can check the current list of voice-chat-compatible software within the app. (Even more software will be added in the future!)

You can use these services to check your rankings, match records, and other vital information related to specific games! You will also have access to a variety of features that will help take your online-gameplay experience to the next level.

Hardly any software uses this, it’s really pointless unless you have any of 6 or so games. It would be much more useful if you could send messages to your friends. Or if you could at least do that on the system. It feels like they wanted to make a system for playing games with friends, yet its only good multiplayer functions are all local
The app is starting to be useful, some good improvements, it still needs a status for the multiplayer so players can know if there’s server maintenance. There could be an option to purchase a game, or future membership fee for the online service when it comes into affect, ready to be downloaded etc, on the Switch. The ability to see which friends are online. And notifications for purchased games e.g. Game updates, server issues, or events for a specific game. And a report bug or feature. Chat appears to have been improved.
needs work. like maybe you could send messages to your switch friends, invite them to a game, maybe able to personalise it more, just quality of life features. i do not wanna have to meet up with my friends at school and tell them a time and date to get online just to play a decent game of smash. on other consoles like xbox you can just invite your friends to a Game via just clicking on their username. just add the feature to text and invite friends to a game via the app and it could be great
