OneCast is the easiest way to find and play any podcast.
More flexible than Stitcher, better value than Doggcatcher, more beautiful than Podkicker, and better search than Beyondpod. OneCast is the best way to listen to podcasts.
Tips:
– Your download may appear stuck while your phone waits for the connection you specified when starting the download (WiFi or mobile). Cancel the download using the stop button, in the same location as the start button. Since OneCast uses your phone’s built in download manager, if canceling and restarting the download fails, kill the “Download Manager” app under settings -> Applications -> all.
– Those arrow buttons skip forward and backwards 30 seconds.
– Picking a show from the search results page automatically adds it to the OneCast home screen.
– Remove a show from the home screen by long pressing.

Best layout and look of any podcast app out there. But the lack of a manual ‘refresh all’ and a notification number of new episodes on the main screen make me keep returning to pocketcasts. It also gives me file error messages when trying some downloads, but am able to download ok on other apps.
UI is one of the best but biggest gripe is it won’t play video podcasts ….something podkicker does flawlessly… I so want this to be my default one but video playback or the lack of video playback is a major letdown…
11-18-12: Updates are great. Keep it up guys! This app does podcasts just right. Great selection, beautiful interface, and easy to use. Only thing that could improve a bit is probably loading speed. With the option for the background service on or off, the browsing of a shows podcast list takes a few seconds longer than “normal”. No big deal, as *development is a process*–which some reviewers fail to understand. Great work guys, and thank you for a wonderful, simplistic application.
