Update: not only is it glitchy, I haven’t been able to make a reso on the app for months now. I’ve uninstalled the reinstalled the app many times, but I keep getting error message: “hmmm….we’re having troubles communicating with our servers”. It’s so frustrating! Glitchy app, I always get error messages when I’m making a reservation. I find it laggy too
It’s okay. Rather cumbersome to use and fewer restaurants are on board compared to the past. The new rewards pale in comparison to the old reward system. The App does sometimes create a circle-of-death when trying to make reservations, where you get caught in an endless task loop when trying to make a reservation, so you just give up and use a competing reservation system. I’ve checked with a few friends and they’ve had the same experience.
Unlike Resy, you cannot make and place your favorites in groups (ex: city/state). This is very frustrating if you have a lot of favorites in a variety of states and cities. You can’t even sort them in alphabetical order. Sometimes you can’t remember the name of a restaurant, but you know it’s a city or state. Instead you have to Wade through all of your restaurants just to find the one that you want to make a reservation.
App is a struggle to use for making reservations. Suggestions come up as ‘uh-oh, nothing found’ even when multiple restaurants clearly have availability. Try to change your party size in the search tool… it takes 5 or 6 iterations before it successfully updates. Restaurants don’t show up by area in many instances, only if you search for them specifically by name. Not recommended for planning your evening… just reach out to the establishment directly.
This app has become less and less useful. Making a same day reservation does not allow for adding to your calendar. Even if you follow the link from the email. There is No help on the app from within the app to see if same day is the problem and no way to contact developers from inside the app to submit a support request. The only way I can think of to attempt to give proper feedback on the unbelievably limited usefulness of the app is to leave this review.
What has happened to this app. It’s not useful. In the past I could find good restaurants. Now everything is rated 5 stars even the mediocre chains. When looking for a specific location I get restaurants from all over the area. Denver is not Boulder last time I looked. This app used to be my go to when traveling now I have to resort to Google maps and search. Fix it please.

I don’t know what I finally did to make it work but I know it will be difficult again next time. Please make this process easier for inexperienced users. I selected the restaurant and picked the time I wanted and after selecting done, I figured I was done. But no reservation happened. Did this process three times before I did something different that finally worked. If this happens again, I’ll delete the app.
The map search is worthless. I pinch to an area, hit search and it expanded to a 50 mile area, presumably to include locations that paid to show in searches. Makes it impossible to use the app to search. I’m only here now because I used Google to find a restaurant and the restaurant’s web site uses open table!
Great app. Can make quick reservations while away from home so you don’t miss out on your points! Also a great way to find already-vetted restaurants and their menus, dress code, parking stats, etc. in unfamiliar areas.
