So far so good The VPN experience is so awesome. This client does just as expected. Had to switch to a home vpn after Niantic banned the VPN I was paying for, and I couldn’t be happier. Able to access my home network media using Plex, shared folders, as well as all the other benefits using someone else’s restricted wifi… can use ports that would otherwise be blocked, and people cannot see network packets in the clear.
Connects to VPN servers quickly and securely. Very easy to use. OPEN VPN Connect does however lack a kill-switch, which prevents Internet data leakage when the connection drops. That said I’ve yet to find a VPN app that does have a kill switch. Maybe it’s not feasible on Android
I would give it more stars, but the app keeps disconnecting from my VPN. It states that it will stay connected during the time the phone is on standby but it keeps disconnecting. Fix this issue for more stars. I know its not the VPN, I have no issues on my tablet, PC, or laptop using the VPN client from the service I pay for. This one has some issues
