This app used to be great, but recently the most important part of a podcast app, and that is the actual downloading has been terrible. Downloads would go up to 99% and then just stop for a few minutes, not to mention downloads that wouldn’t start at all. Sadly, I’m moving to other apps that might not have the same functionality and interface, but at least they work.

No more player controls on lock screen. After the recent Android update to my phone, I no longer have the ability to pause/play or skip ahead/backwards while listening to a podcast with my phone locked. It’s a pain in the butt. I have gone thru all settings (notifications, app settings, lock screen settings), but nothing has fixed it. Will probably look for a new app.

I just really like this app but on my Pixel 4 it has gotten really buggy. Hitting the back button from the screen for the original podcast just goes back to my phone home screen and the only way to get back to the main screen if the app is to force close the entire thing. And it has started pausing randomly every 20 or 30 minutes on average. This may be related to spam calls going straight to voicemail but other audio playing apps don’t have the same issue.
