However, I don’t understand the layout of the app. The whole tutorial was 15 minutes of text and I zoned out, so I have no idea where everything is. It’s way overcomplicated. Don’t even get me started on the animations. Changing the frame rate in the settings doesn’t change anything. I feel for the animators who have their work limited to 5fps.
As someone who has used a sleep tracker for a while already, mostly for the smart alarms, this is a nice alternative with rewards for regulating my sleep patterns. The tutorial is a little drawn out and the tracker didn’t work all too great on the first attempt, but I can’t complain too much. It’sstill early days. Aside from that, a choice of starter Pokémon would be nice. I was a little disappointed in the lack of various choices for that. I’m looking forward to using this regularly!
It’s ok so far. The app itself is very slow, even with 30 fps and reduced graphics on. I wish the app had a dark mode because its colours are far too bright for a sleep based app. My phone was overheating all night, so I moved my phone onto my desk, then woke up to discover that only 4 hours of sleep was “tracked” due to this. What’s the point!? I really want this to work, so I’ll give it another go tonight, but if it keeps causing my phone to overheat, then I’ll uninstall
A nice change of pace. It is really good “game” which may help some people sleep and wake up with a smile. However there are a few things I personally believe can be improved. The game drains a lot of battery and it is not good idea for a phone to stay charged all night. Second is the alarm sound. I tried to change it but could not see options. Maybe i just didn’t find it but if not then I do hope more sounds are implemented. Overall love the game so far. Hope to see it improve over time
Absolutely love it. Instant obsession. I haven’t experienced any of the issues in other reviews, in fact the app has run perfectly smooth for me so far. Just tracked my first sleep and it ran perfectly. I love the cute graphics and am surprised by how many extra features and interactions the app has beyond just being a sleep tracker. This app is everything I didn’t know I needed and I actually feel motivated to go to bed and get good sleep haha.
Its nice, but once I got to actually trying to sleep with it, I’m noticing some things that i feel could/should be adjusted… 1, the app controls the brightness for you while you use it to darken the screen, which is nice, but it also locks the awake screen to about half brightness, & it’s blinding in the dark/when you wake up. 2, while I find the “relaxing sounds” music nice, at its lowest volume it’s too loud, and ironically I cant sleep with it. Please fix these to go lower.
