PowerFTP user reviews :

Auto sync stops once it detected that you don’t have any file in a specified folder to sync from. It has a minimum of 1 minute for every sync. Should have at least 10 sec.

It always saves files in “storage/emulated/0” directory, even if you set another directory in “Local folder path” setting for the server. It looks like it completely ignore the setting. Anyway it is strange assumption what I will want to save files only in one directory

  • Hi Dmitry. Thank you for your feedback. In order to download a file to a specified location you need to change the local directory in the local file view. The current local directory is the destination folder.

I like the app for the most part. But the main issue I have is that I cannot upload more than 1 file at a time to the server. When I select multiple files and click on upload, it seems like it’s processing a bunch of times, but only one is sent to the server, and the result window says “Transferred Files: 1” Please fix this issue soon as it is the only thing preventing me from using this app for my purpose.

it does a good job. i have tried AndFTP before, and i could not edit files in the app, could not access folders on my chromebook outside downloads, could not access text editor apps like QuickEditor, and so on All that works so far. i can edit in the app, can create files, rename them, or store in different formats

Couldn’t even get it to connect to my FTP server. “You’re already logged in” ??? Update: That specific ERROR MESSAGE may not be part of the app, but seeing as how I don’t get that error with OTHER Android-based FTP client software, I’m guessing it IS an issue with YOUR app then, isn’t it? Yes correct credentials, on various shared hosting plans like NameCheap and HostGator.

  • Impossible. This error message isn’t part of the app. What kind of server you tried to connect? Are you using the correct credentials?

Very useful app. This is too Powerful FTP client app. Even we can manage multiple servers as well.

See, this FTP app actually allows sending files not just browsing through files…

It does connect, I did not check my server logs yet to see if it really did connect but Unfortunately it would not show any files on my ftp server.

I used ftp server client but this time i found something useful and easy to access. Thank you Developers.

Useful app for your FTP connection. There are limited app for ftp connection in play store. Must try.

This FTP Client connected to my server very easily, a lot better than any other client I used. However, I had a problem downloading video & picture files. I contacted the developer, and he told me to have some patience so he could investigate the problem. A week or two later I got an update that had bug fixes, and sure enough my problem was gone. A Great app with a developer who cares. What more could you ask for!

I had an issue when I downloaded this app and contacted support. They replied swiftly and updated the app with a fix. I have tried a number of ftp clients on my mobile and this is by far the best. I recommend it. This is an independent review; I have no connection with this company.
