Quizlet user reviews :

Amazing, amazing app. After Memrise crapped out on us and changed their whole look, I sought out a new app I could use for vocabulary flashcards and Quizlet has delivered everything I’d hoped for and more!! Easy and clean UI, multiple forms of learning and reviewing flashcards, intuitive, no annoying ads… wonderful all around. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

They’ve managed to turn a great flashcard application into sheer garbage with the newest user interface. I’m moving the rating down from a 5 to a 2. Looking for a replacement now. Old review for previous interface -> Very solid package. The only thing I have noticed is the pinyin audio can get confused. It would also be nice if we could have 3 slots. I am studying Chinese and it would be nice to have English, simplified Chinese and pinyin in individual slots.

The app was amazing until they updated the learn feature. It made it so terms would appear in order of the study set, which made it easier to answer based off of recent memory instead of committing the terms to long term memory. Now they just locked the learn feature entirely behind a paywall, so the app is essentially useless for those without money to spare. If you need money, I don’t mind some ads, but don’t lock people out of the main draw of this app.

This app used to be amazing for learning and retaining, but they took away all of the features that actually benefited users, and are now locked behind a paywall, or missing entirely. If you are looking for a flashcard alternative, Anki is a good replacement. It’s not on android, but it is available for free on computer.

I just installed this last night and for me it is helpful for us, students! You can make your own folders, flashcards, classes, and study sets. You can also have a test about the study sets you made. It is very helpful for me. I honestly learn and memorize the my lessons fast. I hope the app will also improve more.

I love the app, but in the last update they removed the the audio feature option from the match method, and you can’t autoplay and swipe right and left anymore with the flash card method, and the old design is better than the new one and more productive. They should either get the app back to how it was or I’ll have to redo all of my flash cards on another app.

Overall a pretty good app for flash cards! Main negatives are a bug where if you exit from flash cards (ie. pressing home) and come back later, progress isn’t saved, the desktop version doesn’t have support for marking a card as correct or not, and pro is tactfully a year long subscription when exams only last a couple of months. But great for making your own flash cards, and still very usable without pro which is good. Found that non-flash card games didn’t fit with my question/answer cards.
