Mahjong is a four player game. Unlike chess and Go, mahjong is an imperfect information game. Mahjong combines the elements of calculation and strategy with the elements of risk assessment, observation skills, and luck.

What makes this app special?

First of all, RMahjong has real and fast artificial intelligence, that quickly collects mahjong hand.
Many existing riichi mahjong applications have really weak AI which is also not an AI at all.
RMahjong itself is fast. Blindingly fast. You can adjust the speed of the game in the settings.
Tiles have a maximum size for easy reading. Tiles are really beautiful.

You can not only play, but also record games for further viewing and analysis. Review is possible from point of view of any player.
When viewing previously played games, a step-by-step and automatic viewing mode is possible.

You can see your game progress (rating). Player rating is calculated using the formula that used on the tenhou server.

The rules are basically identical to the standard Japanese rules used on tenhou.net server (with open tanyao, red fives, atozuke ari, and double ron).
You can choose a game with or without red fives in the settings.
You can choose the type of game: hanchan or tonpussen.
You can also choose a game mode in which the server will not offer you the ability to make Call (Chi, Pon, Kan).
It is also possible to set the automatic declaration of victory or disable it.

RMahjong is not a silent application. You can hear clicks of discarded tiles, clicks of tiles during calls. Calls themselves, in addition
to animation, are also produced by voice.

Unlike many riichi mahjong apps RMahjong has an interface in two languages (Japanese and English).

Types of advertising switchable according personal preferences. Two modes are available:

banner with full screen at the end of the game
full screen after each round and at the end of the game.

R Mahjong is completely free and has no in-app purchases.

But that’s not all.
You can play against other people via wi-fi.
R Mahjong is perfect for playing with friends. Not enough players? No problem. You can play against humans and bots in any combination.
You can play Mahjong even when there are less than four of you.
You do not need to manually enter the IP address of the device acting as the server. R Mahjong will do everything for you.
You can start a game of mahjong with friends in just a couple of touches.
Network traffic between devices is encrypted, so that no one can cheat while spying on the hands of opponents.
In the case of playing over the network on a device acting as a server, you can set the type of game (hanchan or tonpusen), a game with or without red fives and a timeout that limits the time allowed for one move.
