ReKey is a mobile application that fixes the recently-disclosed “Master Key” vulnerabilities discovered by Bluebox and other parties that affect nearly all Android devices in the wild and allow attackers to take full control of a user’s mobile device.

With the ReKey mobile app, Android users are able to immediately protect their Android device without waiting on security updates from their mobile carrier. In order to patch the vulnerabilities, ReKey currently requires that the Android device be rooted.

ReKey is the result of a research collaboration between Duo Security, a cloud-based two-factor authentication and mobile security company, and Northeastern University’s System Security Lab (NEU SecLab).

Seems fine No boot problems on my Droid Charge with Tweaked 2.3.

BOOTLOOP – Watch Out My Note 2 bootloped too, luckily I make backup images in TWRP often. This app needs to be pulled from the market until this glitch is found and fixed.

Not consistent with Bluebox Installed ReKey on original Samsung GTab 10.1 running rooted stock ICS. ReKey says Device Secured. However, Bluebox shows my tablet as unpatched and vulnerable. Don’t know which to believe

v1.0.2 Works ! Works ok on my note2. N7100 no bootloops. Reboots your phone without warning after you click secure.

Doesn’t fit on screen The app appears to run fine on Kyocera rise although it doesn’t fit on the screen in either orientation.

Doesn’t fit on screen No idea if it works as doesn’t fit on my HTC Explorer(Pico) screen – maybe if you made the LARGE warning graphic a bit smaller or proportional to the screen size ?

What’s the use if you can’t reach the button? I thank you for helping fix the Master Key vulnerability, but you should have rememberd that not all android phones are equal and some have small screens. I’m unable to activate the fix simply because the button is under the bottom of the screen.

Works great on the Note2!!! Works great on the note2! no bootloop like everyone says. with that being said im running slim rom 4..2.2 build_6-PCFR 5.28.13. its a good chance it will work on CM or PA rom as well, since SlimRom is built on CM.
