I’ve tried several “Learn Singing” apps and this is the best one. You don’t have get paywall discouraged as everything featured is free, just time limited. However, in just 10 minutes a day you will start seeing improvements. I’ve been using Ryaz for 2 weeks now and I went from not being able to sing in neither low nor high tones to even managing to jump from low to high notes and back! Only suggestion I have is adding a feature where you get to see the needed notes for songs of your choice.

Obviously you’re meant to match the pitch on screen, but it loops for an unspecified number of times without any way to tell when it will end. It gives you a score, but doesn’t explain what’s wrong. It will only plot your singing pitch if you wear headphones, but when you wear headphones the music is out of sync with what’s on screen, making it difficult to sort out what’s going on. The interface is buggy, often not responding to taps or drags. Uses non-English words despite choosing English.

The more you use these kind of apps the more you loose your naturalness. It’s a useless app. Grab a guitar play a chord progression and just try to sing in a pitch. Practice naturally. None of the great musicians ever used these kind of apps. They even don’t have tuners or any recording device but still they shined. You have your mobile phone and it’s enough.
