Needs an undo button, a way to play the physical quests/campaigns, and an optional peril setting. Aside from that, this app is the best way to continue bringing descent to tables.

This app, in my opinion, is a requirement to making Descent more casual friendly. It helped me get my children interested in the world of “real” board games. My favorite aspect is the sound effects that gives each map life. A huge bonus is how the app manages your inventory, and skills. I’m really hoping the dev’s, make more campaigns. There is a huge interest in this, from all the people I’ve talked to. I’m completely willing to pay for additional content.

The App allows you to have hours of fun with the board game in a completely different way to the base game, for free (initial campaign). I really enjoy the atmosphere and extra immersion created by the app. Overall I think its excellent. One major omission however is the lack of an ‘undo’ button in case you click the wrong button, please please add this. Also a dedicated save button to save exactly where you are is also another must. Would have been 5 stars if not for these two ommisions. Thanks

You need the actual board game to be able to use this app. This app makes this game a must have for anyone who enjoys having a good time with friends while destroying monsters together. It keeps everything organized and neat. You can have up to 5 different groups going and the app will separate that for you. You can organize your box the same exact way every time. There are some paid extensions within the app. They are worth the money.

I enjoy it so far but i am slightly confused on why the campaigns in the quest quides that come with the board game aren’t featured in the app. I wanted to use the app to play through the quests in the guide as co-op with my wife and learn to play the game, buy instead we ended playing against each other as i have taken the role of overlord. otherwise it is a wonderful way of keeping track of abilities, experience, and inventory.

It is a free app that adds a new way to play the game. It becomes a regular dungeon crawl rather then a 4v1 tactical and competitive game. You do need to have the game but the app mixes tilles from different expansions and you get different side quests. You can use the app to play with your children as it seems noob friendly enough.

This app is a buggy mess on Android. Interactable tokens, doors, etc. only work half of the time, and sometimes the game board, monaters, etc. dont even spawn–you’re just left with a blank screen and nothing for your heroes to do. I’ve tried using this app over the past few years, and each time I end up abandoning the game due to bugs. Very disappointing. I reached my limit in frustration this morning when the game failed to even load the map.

Great app that allows you to play heroes of the game if noone wants to play overlord. Some changes in the rules could be clearer which makes first couple times playing tougher, but understanding also comes with time. Main reason it’s only 4 stars is I got a new phone this last summer, finally got my group together to play again, and the save data didn’t transfer over nor can I see any way to do so. Fantasy Flight, we need a file transfer option. Either cloud based or exportable file.

A great way to expand the game, and one which I wish more dungeon crawler developers followed. The ability to mix in expansions and the added atmosphere of the overworld is great, as is the balance between the physical and digital game (the app enhances the physical game but only replaces the DM).
