The data collected by Sapience Buddy is presented in a visual dashboard that’s intuitive and easy to understand. You can mark activities tracked as work related or private, giving you reports that you might need for your business or personal use and also understand how your time is split between your personal activities and work activities. Use this data for work-life balance goals.

Sapience Buddy is customizable; you have full control over what activities are tracked and during what time intervals.

Call Tracking – automated call tracker to capture all details of each call you make (duration, time, calling party).

Known limitations and workaround:

On some phones like Xiomee and LeEco, Sapience and other Apps running in the background get killed periodically. This will result in gaps in data collection.

Fortunately there is a way to inform the Phone OS about apps that you want to keep running in background. Below are the steps for setting this up on Xiomee phones. If you feel that Sapience is missing some data (this will not be the case on most of the phones), you can do similar settings on your phone.

1. Settings to add Sapience App to the list of Apps to be started automatically
a. You will find an app called “security” on these phones. Launch it.
b. Tap Permissions
c. Select Auto Start
d. Scroll to find Sapience in the list and switch the toggle on.

2. On phones like Xiomee, you need to give permission to Sapience app to access locations through Security app also.
a. Launch the security app
b. Tap Permissions and then tap Permissions again on the resulting screen. (The UI of this app is not very user friendly)
c. On this third screen, you will see two tabs named “Apps” and “permissions”. Select Permissions again!
d. Scroll down to the section named “get Precise location (GPS and Network-based)“. Find Sapience in the list and enable location access by selecting “Accept”

3. To avoid Sapience from being killed when you clean up the memory
a. Tap the “Overview” button. This is the button (typically displayed as a square or a stack of squares) that sows the list of apps currently running on the phone
c. Identify the Sapience icon from this list and drag it down once. A small picture of a lock will appear on top right corner of Sapience icon. Now Sapience will be preserved during memory cleanup operation
