Poor They promised silent text for android and is a lie . Pay lots of money for same software like redphone that is free. Get out silent text. Also silent mail is a scam. Mail is encrypted only on server so you have no security. Same like hushmail that is not safe but is free. Is a scam

Lu Lu – you make some good points. Silent Text for Android is now available. It took us longer than expected and thank you for your patience. Silent Mail is what it is although I believe it is much easier than hushmail. We are working to improve the mail process with some ideas that have never been tried.

needs push notifications This app drains your battery. It needs to support push notifications for calls to minimize battery drain. The developers could learn a lot from Redphone in that Redphone uses push notifications or SMS, so that one doesn’t need to have the app constantly running in the background keeping a network connection open.

The wait for Silent Text is over. Funny you say the developers could learn from Redphone. They use the ZRTP protocol invented by Phil Z. Contact us if there is anything we can do for you to improve your service. Battery should not be affected by Silent Phone.
