The idea is great and this app can reallly be useful if you are trying to get very very rough numbers. I own a Pixel 2XL and in my case, the numbers were off all the time by 3 to 7 inches short. And I tried it on multiple clean, flat surfaces. I also used the calibration features twice without a change in the measurements result. If it was more accurate (two centimeters stated in the app seem reasonable) I would definitely buy it.

love this app. saves me from having to carry a clunky tape measure around. I tested it’s accuracy using a ruler. spot on.
