Sleep as Android user reviews :

I’ve been using the app for a couple of years, mostly because I like the captcha function and could use my Spotify playlist as a ringtone. The problem is I closed that subscription and switched to YouTube music. Could you make it possible to select YouTube as you can with Spotify? I stopped using the app and it’s only because of that. Thanks!

  • Hello, we are sorry for the limitation, but YT Music does not have API we could use for the integration (they cannot offer API due to the licensing issues of the copyright content…).

Edit: I need to give the app 1 star back as it does have automatic sleep recognition. The problem is it’s not working properly and there is no intuitive way to select sleep start/end time to correct it so the app can learn. I know that there is allot of effort to make this app compatible with as many different OS as this one is, but all the elements are there, they are just not arranged properly to be readable. I would happily give the app 5 stars and buy it if it would have: – In the sleep screen, the following elements: – Sleep Duration (h:m) (with editable Start time and End time, so the app can learn) – out of that: Deep sleep, Lite sleep, Awake (h:m) – on the graph: Deep sleep, Lite sleep, Awake, not on wrist with a clear legend on the same screen. — First review: I don’t know why everyone is pushing this app, it’s trying to do allot of things but does not do any of them well. Aa a sleep tracker, once I installed it on my Ticwatch E, the heart rate monitor continuously searches for heart rate. so much that it’s heating my hand to the point I need to take it off. Even if it’s continuously searching, I still need to manually turn sleep tracking on and off. It showing the sleep correctly in the morning, and then a few hours later it’s just showing only 1,5 hours out of 8, why ? I don’t what the graphs show, when all I want to see is total hours slept (deep/lite sleep and awake), total hours tracked and maybe sleep quality. What I get is a couple of vertical lines with no information on them. The alarm by default wakes you up 30 minutes earlier. Why would I want that? And most of all, it’s one of the most expensive apps i’ve seen on the market. To worth the asking price, needs a total UI redesign, and allot more customization and transparency.

  • UPDATE:Hello Dumitru,we just have 350 chars to respond,so we can’t react to everything. Here is link on how Automatic sleep tracking works: https://docs.sleep.urbandroid.org/sleep/automatic_sleep_tracking.html.. you can see that it is a sophisticated algorithm which learns over time from your manual sleep sessions.Plz contact support[at]urbandroid.org

The alarm check does not stop, Edit: I did comfirm it and said I was Awake. However I think I noticed that it does it a few times, Which is shown in the settings of it, which is why it was doing it again after confirming I was awake. Reply: There were more alarms close to each other. Pretty much right at the 40 minute window that I chose for a smart wake up. Also, it seems like an update may have fixed it because it didn’t happen again When I set it up

  • Hello Kyle, could you please use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug? Was there only one alarm, or more alarms close to each other? Our contact is support[at]urbandroid.org. Thank you.

Sleep manager is the best way I can categorize this app. This is in it’s own league compared to other alarm apps. Development is rapid, the rare bug is squashed quickly, features are beyond expectations

Great sleep monitoring app Very useful. I use it every sleep. Nice design. The smart wake up is awesome! Updates and improves frequently. I can’t set an alarm from my Huawei Watch to my Nexus 5 phone via the app. When I try to set an alarm from the watch it only let me do it on the build in OS alarm clock app. No option to choose Sleep as Android as the default app for alarms on Android Wear app. Sent a mail to support about it with screenshots. Thanks for the reply, hope things will change this fall on Android Wear 2.0.

  • I see, unfortunately from Android Wear there is no way for 3rd parties to register for new alarms.. this is by design and i don’t know of an workaround..
