There’s the core to a good game somewhere underneath the (very large) pile of absolutely aggressive ads. Two payment for levels for each of the 2 or 3 separate passes they have going at any time. Constant pop-ups asking you to buy this package or that booster. Worth playing if you’re good at finding and hitting the close button quickly enough. I understand developers of free games need some sort of income, but this borders on disrespectful.
Pretty good game. It’s fun to play and satisfying whenever your plans to chain matches work. It would be nice to use energy for more than just battles, I have 130 out of 30 energy last time I checked and being able to use energy to get things like coins, gems, or character cards would help with the slow grind of leveling up. An issue I have is that events allow you to obtain the ability to retain monsters after a field reset, which last time I checked is not possible in events.
Fun at first but the progression hits a wall as even the stages you already beat seem to get more difficult. The stages take forever to complete so if die you’ve wasted a lot of time to make no progress at all… not even anything to level up your characters. Eventually you feel like a hamster in a wheel but of course they offer you a way out in the form of countless micro transactions.
It’s a great game to kill time and it’s addicting.I don’t usually run out of energy. My issue is it’s just grinding after a few. I’ve been stuck on the same stage for a week now and I play multiple times a day. Just not enough cards/coins to level up characters so you can progress. It’s still fun but gets discouraging when you get to level 29 everytime and then the last boss just runs you down. It seems a bit unbalanced IMO. I’m excited to see the app grow and see what updates fix/bring though.
Overall pretty good. Rounds takes a long time. You could also go through 29 levels and only have your base hit once and then the boss on level 30 just plows through like it’s nothing and you have to start over from level 1 again. Ads don’t always grant the power up it’s supposed to, it just doesn’t give you anything for watching the ad.

Although the moment to moment gameplay is good. Match 3 puzzle game with RPG elements. It’s simple yet fun. Unfortunately, the game has a SUPER GREEDY DEVELOPER/COMPANY! Just from the main menu: Build-up premium currency, First purchase bonus, 3 different “battle pass” systems, (with 2 of them having multiple levels) Paid/ads based afk system, Ads for stage bonuses, and even a bonus for lifetime ads watched. Not only is this scummy, it’s taking advantage of people with Skinner Box mechanics.

Love this game. The only thing I HATE is when the pieces start bouncing to give you a “hint”. First off, it happens way too fast; I’m trying to plan and it is beyond distracting. Second: Sometimes the “hint” isn’t even a real move. It’s just a random piece that will do nothing when moved. Will upgrade to 5 stars if you can give the option to turn the bouncing off.

I think this is pretty fun, and I’m glad the ads are opt-in and not intrusive. There’s something bothering me though: How come only a straight line (up/down or left/right) counts as Connect-5? The Connect-5 bonuses aren’t applying if you do a corner or T shape, and that seems odd to me? If that could be addressed, I think the experience would feel a lot smoother. Also, giving a bonus if you do multiple matches in one, like how combos would normally give you extra moves. Fix these, please!
