Snapdragon ™ Glance is an intelligent lock screen application, which makes it easy for you to quickly access the information you need.

At a glance you can quickly see what is new since you last looked at your device: view important notifications, see when your next appointment is, check the weather, launch relevant apps and contact people more quickly.

Once installed Snapdragon Glance launches each time you turn your screen on. From here you can use Glance or select the Home or Back buttons to access your regular home screen.

Requires Android 4.3 or later.

Requires Snapdragon BatteryGuru app: Snapdragon Glance uses information learnt by the Snapdragon BatteryGuru app to understand your behavior, allowing it to suggest relevant apps and contacts. For this reason you must install Snapdragon BatteryGuru prior to using Snapdragon Glance. Make phone calls, read call log, read contacts: quickly call or text your contacts
Messages: show number of unread SMS messages
Read calendar: show next calendar event
Location (approximate): retrieve local weather information

Great initial release, shows promise. By not perfect The app is really cool, I find myself not unlocking my phone turning it on and look at Glance and then turning it off. It gives me all the info on the screen that I would be checking for if I had unlocked…. Saves battery. But it would be better if it had some gestures move onto my lock screen.

Nice idea. But has quirks My phone started getting sleep of deaths while not charging my phone. It looks a bit too much for a “glance”. And there’s no unlock button except for pressing back and home button which kind of stupid if this is supposed to run after pressing the lock button

Nice Very good but needs more work . Like the need too press home button to unlock .. It feels wierd. But its a very good start .
