Speechify user reviews :

Several aspects that are present on the desktop version are absent in the app, such as particular voices. It’s extremely user unfriendly. I can’t list all the reasons. Take the free trial and see for yourself. And the array of voices is not broad at all. The only things nice about it are the Paltrow, narrator and president voice, which are pretty cool, but their speed is way off and if you slow them down the quality fades. P. S. Hire someone better for user experience. I don’t have time.

Thnx for fixing previous issue, I raised it by 2 stars because you fixed it. Now it just has saving and fast forward issues. If you use a book and stop every so often it will just erase your progress so you have to hope you remembered the time stamp. The fast forward issue is it will sometimes not allow fast forward or rewinding. Other times if it does allow it, sometimes it will randomly jump like 2 minutes. For the most part I think it tries to stay consistent with 10 seconds or something.

speechify has been my go to for months. It has dramatically improved my reading habits. Main price is unfairly high, just to have ai voices that allow a more human sounding speech (this should be a norm, not a premium feature), thus I can only give it 4 stars. I still highly recommend the free version and would gladly pay if it was a more reasonable price.
