My only problem is, the app is displaying the incorrect local time for my Pacific time zone (2:00 PM instead of 3:00 PM), which suggests that the star charts as presented by the app are therefore slightly inaccurate. Other than displaying the incorrect time, the app seems very well thought out. When my wife first saw it on my phone she said, “hey, what is that? That looks pretty cool!”.
this app doesn’t work well with the compass in my phone so live view of the sky is worthless. I do enjoy the app for the star charts and being able to locate celestial bodies but I have 35 years of experience studying the night sky and this replaces paper maps that I used to carry with me. I do have to use other means to orientate myself because this app won’t do it
