Starfield Watch user reviews :

Pretty limited app with few customizations but app seems to work well. The firmware 2v18.2180 however… The FW still has a lot of bugs and frequently crashes when hanging up on phonecall (usually). Sometimes drains the battery within hours even when not in use, or crashes. Only way to get it started again is to wait a week for the battery to complete drain and then start it by charging it. Buttons will rarely respond when crashed. Any news on updates so the watch can function properly again?

So far pretty happy with the watch and the app. The lack of touch screen on the watch is actually rather a plus (better control, less risks of unwanted activation). Connexion and control are much more efficient and intuitive than on most Smartwatches I used. Only minus: the watch has no timer app. It’s probably a rather easy feature to add in a firmware update, so Bethesda, if you read that, feel welcome to implement it

Does what it says. Sometimes the app resets and the welcome screen appears again after using the app many times. Needs weather function that is not present as of now, the watch has the feature and needs the app integration to work. More watch faces would be nice (I’d love if the moon phase was integrated as a face with time!) A battery percentage estimate would also be cool, I don’t like the plain battery level bar personally.

The app itself is great, however only given 3 stars as there are missing features, for example weather doesn’t work (yet), the watch simply says to enable weather in the app, yet the app has no option to enable weather. Also moonphases do not show sunrise/set times as shown in the manual. Once those points are addressed this gets 5 stars UPDATE: dropping to 2 stars. Having to reaccept the t’s and c’s every time you open the app is annoying. Weather functions still not implemented

Comparing with high-priced smart watches, it is not that good, comparing with budget smart watches it sucks. Bluetooth connection constantly dropping to start. Wish it was an option to choose what notifications to receive on a watch and a way to set an alarm just on a watch without the phone alarm. And the other thing- the watch has the weather tab on it,but asking for it to be set up on an app and there’s no option of weather in app.

Good start, however the intro and EULA must be accepted every time the app is launched for some reason. Would be good to show this only on first launch or until paired. Also the App seems to lose connectivity and completely resets itself once the watch is out of range sometimes. It then needs to be re-paired and sometimes settings re-adjusted, which is very annoying! Again with all things “smart” it’s the software acting up…

*edited to add thank you for fixing the issues highlighted! The only thing that would make this perfect is having the starfield logo in colour and not just white. But i can live with that Love the watch but no weather, just directs you to the app where the weather option doesn’t exist. The moon phases don’t have the rising and setting times either. I really hope that’s fixed soon.

It’s okay, but it turns itself off once or twice a day. Wouldn’t be such a big deal, except once I turn it back on my step count for the day resets to zero! It is very frustrating as I like to see my step progress on that graphic progress throughout the day. Battery after 3 days is at around 80%, I set it with screen brightness right down and to only turn on when I press a button, not by raising a wrist. Default settings it lasted less than 2 days, hoping for over a week doing it this way.
