I never rate a game 5 stars. Because no game is perfect. 4 is the max i go. But, i gave this 3, because of how it keeps crashing. And the lack of updates. For some reason, every two matches, it crashes, and i have to restart the game. I have to reopen the app, and restart my game. I was doing good, 2-0 me on pro, and it crashed and i was fed up. So, im here giving a review. Please fix this and add replays, that would be cool as well.
The reason why I give this two stars is because number 1, the ad on the top of the screen when you play, 2, every time a quarter ends, I get an ad and the app most of the time closes by itself and I have to restart, please fix this
This game is overall a good game, but the harder the difficulty the more “rigged” the game gets. On hard, pro and sometimes medium, my goalie cannot stop rebounds 95% of the time and they end up as goals. Also the AI, on hard, pro and sometimes medium, scores with less than 20 seconds (less than 1/2 a second in real life) left in a period and sometimes this wins it the game. This has happened multiple times! It depends on the team your playing as and against. Overall a pretty good game.
I really like this game, however I think they should make this an online game to compete against other players, I play in Pro mode and I win every game, I need competition…. penalties and power-plays would be nice too

Couple of suggestions: 1) While hockey is 5 on 5, I think it lowers the pace of the game somewhat (less room to move around, etc.) I think there should be a 3 on 3 option. 2) I like the ice mechanics, but I think it should be sped up slightly… The acceleration is a little too slow, so maneuvering isn’t as it should be. 3) I think the view is too “zoomed” in. If it can be zoomed-out somewhat, that will help. 4) It can sometimes be hard to see who has the puck. I think the player with the puck should be highlighted more, or the puck should glow more.
Why is it that all the Canadian teams have basically the lowest stats? Team Canada’s stats are garbage too, they’ve only won 2 Olympic gold medals in a row
