After further consideration, I have to take away a star. The algorithm is not as good as on YouTube Music, and the home screen widget is very out-dated. From Android 12 onwards it doesn’t fit the design, and when there is no music loaded, it just sits there empty. It shouldn’t just be functional but be part of the UI. It should at least keep the last played track’s name, thumbnail and the player controls, otherwise it looks buggy.

Best music streaming service out there, with unrivaled quality. One small issue I have is that everytime I open Tidal and play a song it takes about 30 seconds until it starts to play the song, regardless if it’s downloaded or not. I would appreciate if this would be flawless in a future update as I am sure is not something complicated to fix.

Hi! This is my second time on Tidal, now as a paying customer. Lossless audio quality with up to 1400kbps at the same price as the competition’s lossy audio quality is a no brainer for any audiofile. The audio quality is excelent on Tidal, but there are issues with the app: 1. Switching between devices is a problem, especially between installed apps and Chromecast on my smart TV 2. Android TV app is very basic 3. No Master quality with Chromecast 4. Not sure about the music discovery algorithm
