uTalk – Helps you speak a new language

[App] uTalk – Learn Any Language

Learn languages fast: uTalk gets results because every word you hear is in your new language and you speak, listen and understand from Day One.

The app has a huge range of 140+ languages and with free starter words in each, you can try it risk-free. Score full marks in the games and you can also unlock an extra topic in your language for free.

uTalk helps you speak a new language for these 3 reasons:

1. Learn from the locals: We record native speakers so you can hear every word pronounced clearly. We then get you to mimic their pronunciation and compare your intonation with theirs. Practise until you get it right – you can even slow the audio down if it’s too fast.

2. Crammed full of words: Useful everyday words and phrases. Topics, like Food and Drink, take around two to three hours to complete. But you can dip in for just five minutes at a time or longer. With 60+ topics, that’s a total of 180 hours of learning.

3. Keeps you motivated: Check your scores on progress bars as you move through five progressively difficult games. To get full marks, you’ll have to know the words as well as your own language.

Who’s it for? uTalk’s tried and trusted way to learn a new language has been developed over 25 years and is perfect for beginners. But, because of its wide-ranging language, it’s also invaluable for intermediates looking to fill in gaps in their vocabulary and pronunciation.

How it works: Subscribe to everything on uTalk or buy individual languages or topics. Learn on any device, at home or on the move. The app automatically syncs between your devices. Work offline by downloading content.

uTalk user reviews :

Learning Romanian with uTalk and honestly think it’s a little too advance for me at this stage. uTalk does have the best vocal coach compared to others that use computer generators Prefer Duolingo, qlango and drops for the time being to learn the basics. I’m sure uTalk will be useful as my learning progresses. Absorbing YouTube and reading RO content on Reddit.

  • Our app’s an easy way for beginners to get started in Romanian because it uses fun games to help you learn key words and phrases. Every word you hear is voiced by native speakers, there’s lots of pronunciation practice and the games test you more on words you get wrong. But there are lots of ways to learn and we wish you well with yours! Best, Sara
It took a little while to figure out how to get access to full functionality, but the trick is SCROLL DOWN! Cause the topic menu is off the screen! And it doesn’t even look like there is a menu, if you don’t know it’s there. This App is stable, and very effective at helping you learn a Language, the game format helps your mind relax so you can remember things quicker, and easier, and it feels more fun. The best thing I like about the App is they offer more Categories than the Computer Version!

  • Thanks for taking the trouble to update your review to , we’re really pleased to hear you’re happy with uTalk. It’s also useful for us to know that the log in screen isn’t visible on your device until you scroll down. We haven’t come across this before and will investigate. Wishing you lots of happy language learning! Best wishes, Sarah
I find the variety of subjects and content on the utalk app really useful.I especially like the sections on each topic called ‘Hard game’ & Memory recall game’.They certainly stretch you a bit. I also liked the fact that you can bookmark useful sections on whatever topic you are currently learning, & that those can be downloaded & then used offline .Very practical! And last but not least I really appreciated their great customer support in resolving a minor issue.I would recommend the utalk app!
