Vibrance HDR – Allows you to modify contrast enhancement strength

[App] Vibrance HDR

Vibrance HDRVibrance HDR allows you to create high dynamic range (HDR) images, either from a single photo, or from multiple (three) auto exposure bracketed (AEB) photos.

High-dynamic-range imaging is a technique used in photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity. This works best in conjuction with a camera app that supports taking photos at multiple different exposures. However VibranceHDR also supports creating a Fake HDR effect from a single photo. Note that not all devices support multiple input photos.

Note that VibranceHDR is not intended to be a general purpose photo editor – there are already plenty of free apps for that.

Create HDR effect from either single photo, or three input photos at different exposures.
Editor allows you to modify contrast enhancement strength, brightness, contrast, saturation, white balance temperature.
Quick display of original image for comparison.
Pan and pinch to zoom.
Works in portrait and landscape.
Exif metadata is preserved by default where possible, with additional options to control what metadata is preserved.
HDR tonemapping options include Reinhard, Exponential, Filmic, ACES.
Auto-alignment and ghost removal for processing multiple input photos.
On-screen histogram.
Built-in help (including guides on how to take AEB photos on various Android camera apps).
Share to and from other apps.

See the pictures for examples of what VibranceHDR can do. The before/after images show the results on a single input image (some are with default settings, some are with using the post-processing sliders).

VibranceHDR includes ads served via the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Admob). An In-application-purchase (IAP) is available to remove adverts.

Vibrance HDR user reviews :

This is almost exactly what I have been looking for in an HDR app! It stacks multiple images at different exposures and pulls out the best of each image. Would be better if you could save profiles. This would be a 5-star app, EXCEPT for not providing a paid-for version that removes the full-screen ad on every image save. Please consider doing this, as I would be willing to pay a ‘premium’ app price for this! Update 1/1/18: Changed to 5-stars. Can now remove ads for a reasonable amount considering the powerful, unique features. Thanks on the follow through!

  • Thanks! I plan to offer a paid option to remove ads, will hopefully get to this soon. I’ve added the idea to save profiles to my todo. Edit: paid option to remove ads now added (as IAP, when editing an image, menu “Upgrade to Ad-Free”)

Works well with combining multi photos to one hdr

Fantastic app, it produces superior quality hdr with minimum effort.

One of the few real HDR apps. It lets you combine up to three pictures of different exposures to create the final version. It also works on a single picture if you prefer to fake it. It would be nice if it could combine more than three pictures but this is one of the best I’ve found so far. Oh, one more big plus is that it saves the EXIF data
