[App] Wear Camera Remote
Wear Camera Remote : Remote control your cell phone camera using an Android Wear smartwatch.
This project is largely a demo. Still some minor hiccups to be worked out.
Mount your cell phone on something and use it to take better selfies, group shots, watch a live stream of your kitchen pot, cat, or anything else as long as you have Bluetooth range.
Touch the watch face to take a picture.
Long-press the watch face for a 5-second self timer.
More features to come soon, but feel free to fork and hack at the code yourself and share your contributions — I’m releasing the source code under GPLv3.

Wear Camera Remote user reviews :
Great effort I like it and it works. Would be nice if photos went to 100MEDIA in DCIM instead of DCIM/Camera. Perhaps a configurable option in the phone app?
Great start It’s great to see apps like this being developed to explore new ways to use Android Wear watches. You can see where this will lead to – i.e. a fully featured camera app that allows you to control the phone’s camera from your watch in many ways (e.g. take pictures, review what’s been taken, delete photos, control the flash etc etc).
Neat! Mirrors your camera viewfinder to your Wear screen, you can take pictures by tapping. No options, but that’s fine. Ethan Hunt, James Bond and Inspector Gadget would all be envious.
Cool Nice to see useful apps for wear appearing. Bluetooth is not the fastest for screen updates, but it works.
