AdFree Android removes most ads in the browser and other apps. It does this by nullifying requests to known host names in the system hosts file.
If you have problems with this app, or you know of additional host names not being filtered, please comment in xda-developers.com forum so it can be fixed!

Ads still present in angry birds space. Not sure if its part if the program or links to outside, so may not be avoidable. In general a great app. Needs some UI tweaks to keep it fresh and tcpdump start should be explained so people know what delay to expect when it’s selected.
