Cashew user reviews :

I’m delighted by the extensive feature lineup, especially the inclusion of essential capabilities like spending visualization, backup and data export. The visually stunning design is enhanced by its seamless support for Google’s Material You that elevates its aesthetics. Great app choice for an expense tracker.

Edit 1: I’ve never gotten such a fast response to an app before, the developer told me there is a web version that syncs with the phone and that widgets are coming soon. Edit 2: Just checked out the Web version and It looks awesome, so many useful features and the design is so beautiful, totally worth the money ___ Previous comment: It would be great If a computer version was made and If It would sync with the phone. Also, why is the widget not working for me? I see no widget.

Incredible UX! Most frictionless process I’ve seen to go from ‘Want to add transaction’ to actually adding it. Super intuitive. And the app looks good too as a bonus. Might just make me start tracking my expenses again. Little nitpick for the dev: The animations aren’t smooth. My understanding is that the app is using flutter and flutter apps don’t use the full 120hz by default on devices with displays that support it. Something to look into. Awesome app regardless

It’s very pretty, but no tagging functionality makes it useless for me. I appreciate your response. However titles are titles, and they are not replacement for tags in any way. For example if I have a payment “restaurant” and want to tag it as split payment, should I call the transaction “restaurant split payment”? Then the next time I try to quickly add a restaurant expense it will autofill the split payment part as well.

Edit: Outstanding. I just discovered the payment strategy for the premium version of this app, and as it turns out, it is offered for free with a prompt asking, sincerely, for support. At a cool $20.00 for lifetime access to the premium version I am happy to pay for such an open payment model. Original Review: This does EVERYTHING one could want from an offline finance app. It’s more esthetically pleasing than any other, similar apps. My only gripe is that the premium version is a subscription.

Excellent interface. Simple enough to do things quickly, functional enough for everything I need it to do. I will say the lack of automated transaction input is a bummer, and its something I’d gladly pay a subscription for. Currently the only way to do that is to DIY your own import system using an automation app.

The app doesn’t automatically lock on exit. It must be cleared from recent apps for the lock to be reactivated. I hope the bottom tabs will be able to have different settings, like the first tab is Home, which only displays the account list, and the second tab is another Home, which only displays the net worth, rather than having two same Home tabs which displays same thing (for better privacy).
