Hello ! I just have starting the usage of this “Compass , so far so good ! I would also like to see the Compass over the Territory being Located . A clear compass Overlay , to give the feeling of walking with the Compass in Hand . Maybe this is a Feature that I have overlooked , as I have just begun . Thank you ! P. S. I like the design but always needing to loose my sense of direction because of looking up at the Coordinates on the Top
So far, there’s no ads. The app work great beside the overlay option. If possible for the dev team to fix the issue with the map keep shaking, and add option for zoom in/out + lock option so you can keep the current effect. As of now, I like this app. Highly recommend you to check it out.
Using the map overlay it looks like the compass is out by close to 20 degrees between the map and physical world. Also could use some dampening on the compass movement to make it more useable.
Mine will not show west at all. It only goes so fast to the east and south. Once I downloaded another compass app, it told hire to calibrate it and did that with this one and it worked again. Don’t believe I saw that in the beginning or have a place for faq’s. Maybe that could be added???
This thing actually saved me from being lost in the woods at night. I mean I was still well with in cell phone service range, and the woods was maybe a couple square miles in the city. But I’m not a huge wilderness person. So…. It was better than every other one I tried.
I was recently a Victim of being Rear Ended (Hit) during an afternoon traffic Accident, the Police asked which Direction I was Traveling, using this Compass App I was able to Answer, this served me and through me the Others, that continue too Ask as this Claim moves Forward. After becoming Familiar with this App, I’ve discovered other uses, Using Location I can see structures and with Compass App, Retail Call-Outs, I can See-More then Coordinates, Names, the Bldgs, Waterways, Etc…Thank You.
Excellent easy to use accurate I’d recommend this app to friends, family, acquaintances But I haven’t tried it out in the woods or mountains where network might be a problem Thank You
Excellent! You could see your building and location, and could get other data like area.
I used this app to show my granddaughter that her guess of where North is was correct. We’ll be using it more in the future as we explore different areas.
I gave this a 4 because when the compass is superimposed over the map, the map is too jittery and the plus and minus controls do not work in order to zoom the map smaller or larger to see more of the map. Also i could not find a settings button, there is no descriptions of how the icon buttons on the area page work and there is no clear button to remove old area searches
