The first book app that works for me and doesn’t immediately make me begrudgingly return to goodreads. Love that you can mute books, wish you could do the same with series. Would love if the recommendations on the main page could be evolved to showing me people who rated the books I read similarly good or bad. I get recommended a lot of smut and romance cuz I read the occasional fantasy book with a romance subplot, and I hate those, so I’d love to be able to mute genres.
The app is a great initiative, has a pretty interface, but then there are a lot of shortcomings right now. First of all, if I add/delete a show to/from my list, the pop up message refers to it as a ‘book’. There should also be an option to reviews shows, and add updates to shows one’s currently watching in terms of mentioning date to it. Then, there should also be a streak, a wrap up, stats, everything for shows as well, that the books have. This will make it a better ‘fable’ (stories) app.

Bumped up a star since earlier this year – you can now add date read, but only from the finished list. It’d be nice to access it from the book page too. As it is you gotta go back & forth to edit it. Other features I’d like to see… DARK MODE Stats for previous years – we can add books from the past but no stats. Also there’s a bug on Android where it randomly wipes out date read when I’m editing it? Otherwise the app has gotten a lot better even since April when I first tried it.
