The download and usage of Fitify is free of charge. Get your training plan and extra features with the Pro version, which is available on a subscription basis. You can always cancel the subscription here in Google Play/Subscriptions. When you cancel, access to the Pro features will expire at the end of the current payment period. The perfect app for what I needed to get into exercising at home and start taking care of myself more. Only thing that spoils the experience is how it doesn’t group together the exercises requiring the bench in different positions. The app had me change the position of the bench from upright to flat 5 times! And sometimes they were right next to each other too.
The design and customisation is brilliant & onboarding process simple. Being able to choose the type of Spotify playlist you want is great. On day 3 of my plan & enjoying it, each day changes your intensity rating of the previous workout. However, after the onboarding, I was shown a month or annual payment option. Closed this & a 7 day free trial was presented. This was ideal but I had to choose this, then the month option, & the £8.99 came out my account instantly. Poor UX here & misleading
The app has been updated alot over the years and I can finally say I’m 100% happy with how it works, not that I was particularly unhappy with it anyway. Workouts are varied (premium or not) but the bonus cool down workouts are nice with premium, also the variety of on demand workouts outside of your plan is both good with or without premium. It automatically changes workout intensity with your feedback after each workout. Settings are easy to use and the notifications aren’t too annoying
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using fitify over the last two years. I was so impressed by the amount of free features (i.e. not Pro). I went to use the full body workout today and it appears to have become pro only, as well as other workouts that I used. Was this a result of the update yesterday? I’m a bit sad that now I’ve got to pay! But, is there a lifetime subscription option? Great app all round. Now I have to decide whether to pay up. Thanks for the last few years of free workouts
