Mortimer Beckett user reviews :

It’s nice to see Gamehouse trying to expand what kind of games they make, but I think this is a bit of a flop. However, the CONCEPT is cool and I think if they spent a little time refining what’s here, improving gameplay, giving it better graphics, and making instructions a little more clear, then it would be a solid entry. I’d like to see them try again with the concept because I think it could be great, but this is more like an alpha test for something that could be.

Love this game! I’ve played Mortimer Beckett’s series and this game is wonderful. It is slightly harder particularly in the minigames. But I like the story, it was an exciting adventure with a little romance. The graphic is so nice, a very different style than the previous games. It became cute and beautiful! The music’s are also pleasant, I’ve heard some of them in the previous games and it made me nostalgic. Good job Paprikari! I, as a Mortimer’s game fan, will always wait for the next game!

I know you claim your games take over a year to develop but this game absolutely does not reflect that. Frankly, Game House is better than this. I appreciate stepping out of the resource management genre, and with a few tweaks, like adding instructions to the puzzles, you can be more successful next. However, the writing was atrocious. None of the characters were compelling, the protagonist completely boring and unrelatable, the villain nonthreatening, and the romance was shoe horned in.

  • Thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry you did not enjoy the game. My team is working on lots of new games for this year – I hope you find a game you love! Kind regards, GameHouse

Loving this game. First Hidden Objects game I’ve ever enjoyed! I’ve noted that it failed to meet standards to be part of Original Gamehouse Stories and as such isn’t included in the subscription. However, the game does have the OGS ident at the beginning of the game & cards in the app we sub from! It is very confusing. Is it part of Original Gamehouse Stories or not? P.S The send button on the Contact part of the Original Gamehouse Stories app is hidden behind the bottom UI bar and unusable.

I just finished playing this game in Hatch and damn, that’s a good one. I couldn’t stop trying to solve the puzzles! All levels are well balanced and I never had any trouble passing them nor have I ever been bored. Extra levels are a good way to keep it a bit more challenging. Very satisfied with this! Kudos to the developers!

I did enjoy playing the game and helping Mortimer through his dilemmas at the museum; it was fun playing the levels..until you need to buy the game to continue; I can’t afford to buy any games and I thought this was a free game; I don’t mind watching the ads so I can play it for free as I have done on so many GH games; had to uninstall; so disappointed; I really liked this game!

I find that my bonus levels are broken. They zoom in, but they dont let me move around. I can do the other levels just fine, but also when I try to zoom in to find the mouse it doesn’t let me move around. Fix it and I’d be happy with the game. It’s good otherwise.
