Different challenge for crossword. I’ve enjoyed the challenge of having to really think. Always a way to get a suggestion if you get stumped. Try to think “outside the box” to get all the answers. Wish there was a way to get more bonus puzzles automatically. Have to wait until you “happen” to find one. I play this every morning to exercise my brain.
Way too many ads! You run out of tokens to play fast, and they don’t give much options to get more unless you buy. It takes a lot of tokens to play one puzzle. I don’t buy anything on any games, especially this one because the tokens are very costly… just not worth it! I finally gave up and uninstalled. Considering all if the bs ads you watch, you’d think they’d give you more tokens… nope, just coins the majority of the time.
Fun game. Not ad crazy I love that it give u the option to watch an ad or not after every game. I do wish that there were harder games like maybe don’t give the letters to choose from so we can figure it out ourselves cuz mostly I can look at the letters and know the word. But I like it. It’s the game I use to pass time because there isn’t an ad all the time.
Way too easy, not worth spending money on or playing if you’re a real crossword enthusiast. Now, how about if it had difficulty levels? And/or you could have the option to begin with a blank or mostly blank puzzle? That would be more appealing. As it is, it’s only for beginners and quickly gets old.
Gameplay is fine. My only complaints are that the game sucks the battery out of your phone very fast (playing a few boards in the morning brings it down 10%) and the animations for everything are longer than necessary with no ability to turn off or skip them. Also you are limited by the amount of tokens you have, so if you don’t like waiting and then watching videos to continue gameplay, I would not recommend this app. Waiting only gets you 10 tokens and puzzles are around 40 for me now.
The game is fun for a while, but each time you get into the app, one token gets added every 2 minutes and completely stops at 10. So once you get to the puzzles that need 11 or more tokens to play, you can’t play them without buying more tokens. Then all you can do is play the “daily puzzle” once per day unless you’re willing to pay money to continue, which I’m not!
This game is a lot of fun and i have been playing for several years. I paid for the ad-free version, so I don’t *have* to watch ads. I do so voluntarily, though, if the reward is tokens. I have finished the classic game so I’m now playing “mix-up mode.” I don’t like it quite as much, but the games cost fewer tokens!
