Strap in for an all new set of tales, with some surprising twists and turns along the way. And remember, everyone’s got that one special meal they can just never forget.

Hungry Hearts Diner 2 also contains a number of side stories*, where you can see familiar characters having additional adventures!

*Note: Some side stories are only available as paid DLC.

Story

On a tiny side street in a nameless little neighborhood sits an old Japanese diner. Things are quiet here; old-fashioned you might say. But of course they are. It’s Showa era Japan, and the television is just starting to come into vogue.

Come on in, have a seat, and close your eyes.
Thunk thunk goes the steady beat of a knife chopping veggies. Hisss; the sound of meat sizzling in a pan.
Getting hungry? Good, ’cause the food here’s sure to warm your belly and leave you feeling nice and full.

Besides, the kindly old granny who runs the place needs all the business she can get. She just opened the diner’s doors the other day, and she’s busy as a bee trying to stay afloat. Managing a successful eatery’s no easy task!

…Hmm, something about this old lady seems awfully familiar.
Didn’t she use to run a diner on the other side of town…?

Welcome to Hungry Hearts Diner!
It’s a cozy place, a place where regular folk gather ’round worn wooden tables for a bite—and maybe some friendly conversation, too. Here, you’ll find food to fill your belly and stories that’ll warm your heart.

Thanks for coming, and we hope you enjoy your meal!

Hungry Hearts Diner 2 user reviews :

I’ve been a fan of the first so I’m really happy there is a sequel. This is my “comfort game” and i play it to wind down and feel warm. I love the new characters and their storylines, as well as the washing dishes update. Keep up the good work!

I don’t care what the monk says. This game should not be grouped with the pathetic excuse for entertainment that is idle games. This game is an absolute masterpiece! The story is gripping! The gameplay is fast-paced. There’s actually strategy involved. The art is phenomenal! You, my friend, have created one gem of a game! If I had any complaints, it’d be that some of the side quests cost actual money, but for a game this good, I wouldn’t mind dishing out a few bucks. Bravo, chap. Bravo.

It is what it is, of course adds may pop, but apart from that, it’s a solid game. No BS or whatsoever. Let me explain. It’s straight up a cooking type of games. Whether hate or love it, it doesn’t force you to pay real money to finish the game or the side stories. Story lines is what I’m intrigued, most of the games you’ll find like this are usually: heavily advertised, pay to win, no storyline. This sets it self apart from other games that I find often. Great job developers.

Absolutely stunning game. I never expected an idle game to bring me to tears. It’s such a beautiful story with such wonderful characters and the ending had me on the edge of my seat and kicking my bed. Truly such an amazing little game, I can’t wait to play the rest of the dev’s work. Such a heavy heavy recommendation
