FastMail user reviews :

The app works great. It exposes most of the features of the browser application (ex. aliases) which is nice. Layout is simple and intuitive. Allows sending from any alias you have set up. It also allows you to delete messages via the notification panel which is wonderful. It doesn’t support an offline use, but for me that’s not the end of the world. It would be nice if it remembered the last email alias you used, but again not the end of the world. Overall pretty awesome.

It’s great that Fastmail even have an app – I’m very grateful. When first installed, it worked really well, but over the last couple of weeks it has become laggy and android often reports that it has become unresponsive.

Great service, even if they did kill XMPP support, and a decent app. Now, with a dark theme, it’s not painful to look at anymore. The only thing is still needs is offline caching, if I could read my new emails it notifies me of (because it polled when I was connected) without getting online again first it would be perfect.

Really good service and application. Just a few suggestions to make it even better. 1) Allow switching between accounts easier. 2) Unified inbox feature for all accounts 3) More gesture controls – swiping in an email to move to next or previous email Keep it up

Update to my previous comment. Fastmail now seems to be broken again on Android. Latest Android upgrade has resolved earlier problems. Fastmail is now back in business and it’s great.

Greta service, I’m very happy with the mobile client except for one missig feature which renders this app inferior to Gmail. I cannot draft new emails or view my downloaded emails without internet connection. Please consider prioritizing offline functionality for your mobile app.

This is a great app by a great company. Since the last update, the notification icon changed from an envelope that clearly meant “you’ve got mail” to – a circle with some generic symbol in it, much less distinctive. Please undo that?

My experience using Fastmail is extremely positive overall, but I’ve found this mobile app to be quite slow compared to say the Gmail native app. It tastes quite a long time to load my inbox nowadays.

Not a real native app so the experience is inconsistent. Some parts are quick others terribly slow. However quite useful.

Usually a very good service. Rather expensive on a yearly basis.

This is the only email app i’ve seen that actually provides access to ALL the same features as the web interface which is fantastic! Unfortunately it’s also completely useless if you have no internet connection – can’t sync mail for offline, no calendar alerts offline, nothing. App would be five stars if offline worked but without that it is majorly lacking.

Good app I have one weird bug, though, on my Galaxy Note 3. When I tap “Download” under an attachment nothing happens, but if I tap “View” under a PDF then it downloads through Firefox. I rebooted my device but the same thing still happens. By the way, I, too, would love to have a dark theme.

Awesome first release The interface is nice. I like swipe to delete and archive feature. Only thing lacking is offline access. Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for that. Keep up the good work!

Good Good first release! Need ability to zoom in a message. Like one touch access to delete archive when in a message. Gestures to next / pen message would be helpful
