[App] Smart Announcer

Smart Announcer provides hands-free option for Incoming calls, Sms and notifications for Android platform.

It acquires data from saved contact list and announces all incoming calls depending on the option selected.

Same feature can be extended over to Incoming SMS messages which can also be announced or Read.

Have been using this app for the past 2 years now, and it been an amazing app so far until they update it, it now very poor and not recomendeble to friends again, before it work for all apps on your phone, now with the new update it only works for some selected apps, which I don’t like, you wouldn’t have updated it in the first place, I think this is an end to our relationship, I can’t bear with you with this new update, I will delete it now, and have a nice time till you do better

Pretty good app. Needs to be tweaked a little more to work out the inconsistencies. For example, it doesn’t always announce the time when set to hourly. Sometimes it will announce a call a few seconds after I’ve already answered. Oh and could you increase volume level for bluetooth earpiece applications? If you get all that done, you’ll have a 5 star winner!

After using this fabulous app for many years, all of a sudden it stops recognizing the other application names. It is not working anymore. For few apps it says “From Null”.

I noticed that there’s a couple of issues with the announcements when the smart announcer tries to announce half the time it will not work there’s been bugs in the smart announcer if it’s possible please address the bugs and the errors in the smart announcer so that the announcer can work better please and thank you

I just tried this version, I was manipulating with large text and suddenly it goes off and the came back that day “The program restarted”? Never had this scenario in version 12.0.0.

Last update and previous updates have made it harder and harder to find the pics I want. Now I have to search thousands of photos to find stuff that was a couple clicks away. I have used this app for over 3 years and now I can’t without investing time scrolling for stuff that was in folders that I can’t even find now. Update: the devs have contacted me and it may not be something they changed. Adding back stars they would have had if I had reviewed before I had issues.

I installed the App. i rated it 3 stars I said that let me give it a try if the app works the way I expected then I will come and give it a full rate to show that the app is really good. Obviously the App is very good and easy to use but I have only one problem with the assistant’s voice; no option to set the voice pitch if it can be possible, please try and add it on the next update thanks.

Still the best announcer app! Not only deals with calls but announces and reads my texts. Dont have to touch a thing when driving. Also announces ur battery charge etc. really nice app. easy to set up and announces battery, reads text, email and phone announcer. i tested many and there r few that announces all of the above. nice work folks.
