Garmin Connect user reviews :

Just starting with this app as I now have a Garmin watch. I have previously used two other apps when I run and the thing that I miss in this app is the level of feed back whilst running. I like to be updated with my pace, avg speed etc every 2 minutes (I find that I keeps me concentrated on my pace when racing) but don’t seem to get that in this app or at least I haven’t found the option yet. if I find it or it can be added I would give a solid 5 stars as it is excellent really apart from that.

I’ve had a Samsung gear fit for 2 years. Recently switched to Garmin. Here are my thoughts. Everything mostly works fine. One important feature it does not have is this. The app doesnt ignore certain notifications right. There are android/ios notifications where you can ignore specific chats. (e.g. In messages or Kakaotalk). If a group chat is ignored, the app should process that message as if it is in do not disturb mode. My Samsung did that perfectly since 2 years ago.

So first thing! This is a great app and pretty easy to function. Works really good with my Garmin Fenix 5x. So much you can do. No for the bad. When doing a workout and trying to edit from the watch it will sometimes show the incorrect reps and/or weight. I have to edit multiple times before it will show correct info. Second. The workouts (different excersise’s) are limited. I wish I could create my own! Overall I love my watch and this app.

I love this app! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because of how difficult it is to find your friends on there. I’ve connected my contacts, facebook, and email and my friends still cant see me (and I cant see them) we have to manually type in each others names to find and connect. Other than the networking side its a great product.

This app and garmin is great. However, my wife has a fitbit and i have a garmin. it would be nice to challenge her in steps and fitness challenges. however they do not link together. this is AWFUL, now she or i have to buy the same type of device. didnt know this until after we bought them. she liked the look and feel of the fitbit and i liked the garmin.

After having tried several cheaply Ebay fitness devices I finally got a Garmin and I cannot believe how awful the apps of the other devices were. 11/10 for GarminConnect. And I’m not into sports, just a regular person wanting to get a walk in on a daily basis, a good sleep and a healthy life.

Come on Garmin!! Was working perfectly fine, but from around 27/11/2018 the smart notifications do not clear from the watch automatically. Today, 14/12/2018, I tried to pair it again after an update and I keep getting a message “Transfer Failed”. Updates are meant improve but Garmin gets it all wrong more often than not…

Great app… working without any issues with my D2 Charlie. I have to suggestions: The first one is to have a special category for Fly and separate it from an activity list and the second one is to add a feature to track a battery discharge at least in the app with a forecast of endurance on watch mode, activity mode etc, taht I would find very useful!
