There are still options that need to be improved. When we open the item crafting section, the back part glitched. Sometimes when we open the game and try to progress in the world immediately, the game crashes. When I lower the graphics and enter the game, the game looks like watercolor and freezes, but when I play on high graphics, strangely enough, it does not freeze.
I like this. I tried the older version a few years ago but only played it for a brief moment and un installed it. I’m glad you guys made this newer port. I downloaded the original recently and it wouldn’t work. I was bummed out about that. I’ve been playing this since I got out of work last night. The screen ratio doesn’t fully fit my phone. It’s cut off on the right and left by about a centimeter. Maybe you guys will fix that.. idk. It’s awesome regardless. Thank you for a second chance at ark
This is surprisingly good! I really like how the game integrates characteristics of both mobile and non-mobile platforms. However: -The game can become a bit laggy. It’s not enough to make the game unplayable, but it’s there. -In the OG ARK mobile, you can double tap on items to switch them across inventories instead of having to hold and drag. -More control/layout settings. -Sometimes the graphics look blurry. -The radial wheel menu is off. When I try to move it to the left, it goes right, etc.
Ark Mobile is great. The only huge & persistent problem is something that will effect 100% of your play time. The movement joystick is absolutely horrendous. “Auto run” barely works a fraction of the time. Double tapping to immediately run only works sometimes. It’s extremely bad. You will either get caught by dinos because of this so often. Or at least lose distance between them and you. Also some bugs that are as old as ASE still exist. Sarco lunge goes in the wrong direction most of the time

But this version has too many bugs and need to be attended to make the game up to the mark. Controls are pathetic and no option to edit. Game loses saved progress again and again. Save backup option is not available. Wheel option is not workable. Old interface was better. There should be option to choose interface of choice. Good old game is ruined in the name of upgrade.
The game has a very amazing graphics with new creatures, materials, and crafting new items. In the bad side the games graphics is an issue, because this game is made for mobile and the graphics is too much for mobile to handle. You really need to take it easy on the graphics because most mobile users can’t play the game smoothly even you lower down the graphics it still not that smooth.
I like the game, overall it is really nice, BUT glutchy. Controlls are wierd, and although i like the idea about most of them, I still experience some difficulties. One of the things are the addition 2 “option circles” in game. Dificult to manage. Also the menu with settings for SP doesnt show all the way. There are also many other little things that annoy me, but overall i am happy with the game. Technically not perfect, but still manageable.
I don’t have a high end phone but it can run about 3gbs ram. The graphics on lowest with everything off can run pretty well with a stable 30-50fps which is pretty good for how much there is now. Game is amazing, glad you’re bringing new stuff in. Obviously its missing quality of life and its in beta. Couple bugs, ocean spawns under UI when inventory is opened. Game crashes when easily under load. No crosshairs. Preversation doesn’t say its working. When turning edges of screen blur render.
First of all I’m both amazed and disappointed, the inventor, it was a lot better than before, there’s a background bug, and because you could easily transfer how much you want, etc. second I really want the 450 Maxx level come back, then there’s the resources they don’t respawn, why? Second is the water reflection, I mean it’s so dark then there’s also too much light, the graphics needs to be optimized too, when dinos are far they look a lot pixelated, there’s still a lot, I hope it gets fixed.
