I hid DCIM folder from internal storage. There were already 50 picture there. Then I clicked a picture through camera and a new DCIM folder has been created. When I unhid the previous DCIM folder which i hid, it got instantly replaced with the new DCIM folder with 1 image only without any warning message. I lost 50 pictures, some of them were important to me. The app should have a warning message about the replacing folder.
Started off great, but crapped out in less than an hour. I found it very useful to move fingers from my Google Drive to my phone. However, when I tried moving groups of 25 or 50 files, it was hit or miss. Sometimes it worked flawlessly, sometimes it froze after moving 3-6 files,b and sometimes the transfers never started. While I appreciate the efforts of the developers, I find this app to be of little use if it can’t be consistent.
Ok, has some good features and some not so. The app list shows backed up apps first and imo it is natural to choose an app in the backed up list to backup app again, this does not work, you need to scroll down to the installed apps section to make another backup. The app takes ages to list apps even after a backup operstion. Still, it is a lot better for file management than some others.
UPDATE; This App can be a little tricky to use at first but once you get used to the menu it is indespensible when you want to find, copy, move, send, play, view, etc. What did I miss here? All you might need is some previous experience in those functions that you may have already used in other OS platforms.
I love the UI. I use this app on my sony ericsson xperia pro since it does not have a built in file manager and this is the best one yet. Though i can’t figure out the cloud trash. So, 4 stars for that. And i really wish there is a dark theme for this and a support for box storage. For some reason when I move my photos my built in gallery can’t detect my newly added folder. Please fix.
Best android app I ever used which seamlessly integrates with the cloud. The user interfaces could have been better. The ads are taking more than a fair share of the screen real estate.
