Very good game! Well written, engaging, and handles character choice very well. Along with decent replay value, leads to a well rounded experience. My only complaint would be that it isnt always very clear if some stats effect certain choices. I happily await and hope for a sequel.
SEQUEL PLEASE!!! IM THISTY FOR MORE! HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME OFF ON THAT. As someone that literally completed the entire thing in less then a day, I’m obsessed. It’s an amazing read and experience. I need more. I need to know what happens next, leaving us off in such an underwhelming way feels so bittersweet. I need answers. I’d pay a arm and a leg for a sequel!! Please consider continuing this as a series. This was by far the best reading, interactive story I’ve ever read!
Pretty great story, but sometimes it is hard to understand. There are conversations with multiple characters and big text blocks and you have no idea who is saying what. It takes a second but I played a couple times and had to rethink who was saying the quote. Other than that great story and good arc. Hope for a sequel
I’ll give this 4.5 stars for enjoyable narratives, in-depth characterization, and of course, DRAGONS. Imo the MC’s development, esp with other characters, is so smooth because there were so many events happening! I also love how you get to slowly bond with your dragon. The major drawback is obviously the coding issues, but I hope future updates will fix that. I can’t wait for the second book, since I have trouble processing the ending and have so much questions already haha.
Fresh story and plot, but it lets its characters go to waste. They are unique and intriguing, yet sadly left unexplored. The same could be said for the world: it is beautifully crafted, yet feels flat and is simply used for a backdrop. Customization, on your dragon’s part, is nice and adds an RPG element to it.
great story, but the app keeps freezing and bringing me to the stats page. Everytime this happens, a message appears saying “Game updated, restarting chapter”. Because of this, I am unable to move forward with the story and am forced to restart THE WHOLE THING. Not to mention, this problem keeps occurring even after I paid for the full version. Please respond if the problem is fixable. —Tyler Abrams
Wish I could write more than 500 words but basically my save reset when I opened the app today which kinda ruined my desire to read more. I hate that you can’t zoom in on the map. The stats are kinda weird. The story is interesting and the characters are pretty cool as well as all the dragon and magic stuff. Although for some reason characters act drastically different around you when it doesn’t make sense. I feel like a lot of it is scripted more than open to your own outcomes, again bad stats.
Wow. Been playing for 5 minutes and I’m enjoying it so far! Kinda reminds me of the racing games in HTTYD 2 movie, yet at the same time it’s uniquely its own thing. The simplistic character customization reminds me of the very first CYOA game on Choice of Games: Choice of the Dragon, which is refreshing and brings back nostalgic memories.
This is realy hard to rate and review it could have easily been a 5 or 3. With some problems with stats and Choices not beening very clear on which stat is needed or being changed. Dragon Racer is in Desperate need of a save system(which should have been in begining). But that story man is it the saver of a life time. Split in Three parts Dragon Racer starts with a Origin story. To a young person achieving their goals (being a dragon racer). And setting up a squel
