Bass boost. Audio effect to boost or amplify low frequencies of the sound.
Virtualization. Audio effect to virtualize audio channels. Allow you to enhance stereo effect.
Loudness Enhancer. Loudness Enhancer is an audio effect for increasing music loudness. (Only for Android 4.4 and higher)
12 presets. Also you able to create your own presets.
The application works with music players and audio streaming services like Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn Radio, VK, etc.

To get equalizer work on Lollipop go to applications settings and select all applications. Find the MusicFX application clear the Application data for this application and then install Equalizer FX. After that when you start music player and select equalizer option new equalizer fx will be available.

I’m not sure if this review will be read by the developers, but I’d like to offer my feedback in hopes for future updates. I love this app and I’d even be willing to pay to remove the ads (not sure if I already can or not.) It’s not a perfect equalizer app. I wish it were optimized to only use battery in the background when you’re playing music. I’m always getting a notification that Equalizer FX is using battery in the background. My only other complaint is that it’s a 5-band equalizer. 2-7 more bands would be nice. Other than those two things I love it and have for a while now
This app is absolutely amazing. There’s so much besides just loudness that you can adjust for better experience in your phone. I recommend, 10/10. You don’t have to pay for anything, and it works sooo well. Lately, my airpods on my Motorola g7 power have been super quiet, even when the volume was at Mac. I could not find a solution because I didn’t have an equalizer setting in my settings, and this was the perfect solution.
Useful app with minor issues. I use Equalizer FX to turn down higher frequencies when I have a headache or I’m very tired, and sometimes so I can hear quiet video’s better by boosting prominent frequencies. This works great and it’s easy to do, but it has two issues. A) When the app is enabled a faint beep can be heard when sound-producing apps are opened (even when not producing sound.) B) The master volume is adjusted automatically with certain settings. I’d prefer controlling it myself.
This app has the only volume booster on the app store that doesn’t completely destroy sound with distortion. Also the only EQ that’s tall enough to operate comfortably. Huge props to the dev for putting software that actually sounds decent in this EQ app. However there is a bug where the profiles keep disappearing and reappearing whenever they feel like it. Very annoying.
Update: PLEASE….PLEEEASE add a Reverb effect!! If the Reverb is added, this will be hands down the best audio enhancer for your phone I love the sound & the fact it works with Spotify. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is there’s no reverb option

For example, if I turn up the low frequencies, it seems to just turn down all of the other frequencies instead of increasing the volume of the low frequencies. Bass boost acts as if I am turning down the volume. The UI is great, however. I would use this app if the equalizer was better.
I was ready to toss my phone becauseit didn’t have its own equalizer. Hard to listen to music in the shop when all you can here are the highs it was horrible. Now I can work and hear my music at the same time without thinking I’m using blown headphones.
Dear Friends, I’ve found the best sound effect Android app. Use it with Google Music Player and make this default app for sound effect. I was finding best app for almost a full day and here I got it. Really, there are many apps but it is real time working app. Test it yourself. Good work devdnua…. Thumbs up..
The best one I’ve tried This one was the best to work with my Moto X Play and my AKG K414P. Wish the musics didn’t glitch by the beginning of every song on Spotify, it seems to be a very common issue with these EQs but I beg you guys to try to fix it.
