So far it’s a pretty solid game. I havnt advance that far in it yet so my opinion may change. The battalion mechanism is really great and the customization with the units is fair. It’s refreshing from a lot of similar battalion games. I choose 4 stars because of the immediate deals that pop up. They don’t even give a time window for those who may not have a credit card attached to your Google account and rely on gift cards for purchase. It’s essentially “buy now” or nothing theme. Please change!
So far this game is amazing, but unfortunately it is unable to work most of the time. I have problems loading the game, loading new areas, and even when the initial messages for the day come up, it freezes and I have to shut off my screen and log back into my phone to shut it off. Sometimes the missions will run on their own, but the screen goes black, I can hear them fighting, and even the reward screen come up, but then I have to shut my screen off, and turn it back on in order to force close.
I like this game’s concept! I’m only a couple levels in, and i already have 20 units to command. since that’s the case, the game is really easy right now, but the complexity comes later. There’s a good bit to customize! Unit selection, unit formation, unit gear, hero skins… and there’s some auto stuff to help us. The music looping and switching to other songs can be very abrupt rather than fading between songs. it’s noticable and bad. Some other sounds could be better.
Good graphics. Good story. Good rpg-genre mechanics. But it’s not on my preference. Or should I say, I’m quite dissappointed on the gameplay. Almost entirely an auto-play mechanics. After you deploy soldiers – that’s it! Your role was to JUST watch how they do the job done. Anyway, 3 out 5 is not good nor bad. Uninstalled after almost an hour playing.
As of right now the game is somewhat playable, sometimes UI glitches out and you have to log out and back in but the gameplay and overall feel of the game so far is great, it offers exactly what you want in a army builder, I get feels from warcraft with the drag select feature and being able to move individual units each with there own skills and affects, solid game that I’ll keep up to date on, thank you.
