FairNote user reviews :

This is perfect!! I downloaded every single simple notepad/memo app available that didn’t include ads and out of all 9, this is the app that has everything I need without any unnecessary extras. It’s very similar to the original Android “memo” app on Samsung phones, but better. 2 bugs/suggestions: first, with time selection it’d be nice of you could type in the hour/minutes because it’s hard to select a precise time. 2nd, if you pin a note to status bar and bulk delete notes, it stays pinned.

  • Thanks for your review. I’ll look into the bulk delete issue with pinned notes.[Edit] The batch delete issue has been fixed in the beta channel: play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rgiskard.fairnote

Where have you been all my life? This is exactly what I needed; the ability to keep text encrypted till I need to see it, then decrypt on-the-fly and be able to search, edit, and save. Also export to other devices via backup/restore. Will upgrade to support development. However, has no adds, nags or other dysfunction in the free version. In response to a question, the developer wrote back to me in only three hours. That’s 5+ stars responsiveness.

Very good app take time to learn. Secure Storage of encrypted notes. With the label feature you can create different categories of notes. What would make this a five star app is the ability encrypt/decrypt multiple files at the same time. The pro version of let you encrypt/decrypt all notes. When reading an decrypting a note it will encrypt immediately if you switch screen, if access multiple times need to enter the password over. Needs option keep decrypted in read-only mode.

A nice & versatile app. Would be great if able to add Attachment/Images since it’s a note app. Location-based Reminders would be an added advantage. Thanks.

Excellent, is it possible to make the scrollbar draggable inside read only notes ?

  • I don’t think it’s possible for text views. Afaik, fast scrolling with thumb only works for list views.
