Godus user reviews :

It’s updating again!!! I love this game, I’ve played it from start to “end” several times on different devices. (In quotes because there’s not really an end, but there comes a point after a few weeks where there’s not much to do anymore.) I’ve seen some reviews say there’s a pay wall, and that isn’t true. There are slower spots, that require more patience, but I’ve never bought anything with real money. You can mine for gems when you get far enough.

The game itself is incredible. What starts out as a fun little game of ‘Oh look, I’m playing God’ becomes reliant on tactics very quickly. My only issue so far is that it’s difficult to come across the correct stickers for collecting cards, and that it can often be very laggy. The graphics and game mechanics are delightful, so I can ignore the issues

I am upgrading my rating to 3 stars because apparently the game is no longer dead. There is however still a lot missing, often basics. Graphics are adorable, the idea is sound and yet the game is barely playbale. Voyages finally work but progression still feels forcibly slowed. There is no way to move or upgrade houses leaving my land littered with eysores. It seems almost as if Godus was pushed to mobile platform just to monetize the wait times.

It’s a nice game- there are a couple things that make it hard to play. Please make it so you can move or delete shrines. I put one down on accident because it was new and I hate where it is. Also, the alert with the red x blocked my ability to build and cost me lives. Also, if you can upgrade existing houses instead of cramming more people into houses that would be nicer.

Firstly any game Peter Molyneux creates is awesome. This game is no exception. The controls are good once you’ve got the hang of it plus the more cards you unlock the easier it is to sculpt your world. Can’t find a game similar in regards to sculting the land it’s truly fantastic. I have been playing this for months and have now completed the game. My only sadness with this game is there are only two worlds to play around with and I completed all the cards within a month of playing. Please update with more worlds and cards plus please unlock the final frozen area in homeworld I dream of finally completing the map and can’t. Thanks again for a amazing game I just hope you invest more to keep us long time players hooked.

Basically super easy to get the hang of if your into designing your own land. Literally move land to form your own and grow your people. Only a bit in but seems fun, super addictive, and potentially a story line that has a plot (aka. The atari people) not sure if they are bad but they do take your people if they’re town is happier than yours. Only thing I ask they work on is more options to add details maybe. I.e. maybe we can buy certain animals for the farm to raise happiness instead of the few items and over the top amount of flags options there are currently. Aside from that love it.

Very nice game, great concept, good game mechanics. BUT the ads are a real pain in the backside: too many of them, popping up intrusively, no integration with the game experience. A complete mood killer… Have just played it for just over 2 days and don’t think I can stand these anymore. And by the way, I am not going to install any of the advertised games any time soon, really pissed off with the constant barrage.
