You guys must not know how to use it! Google Voice IS my number… I don’t give out my cell number. I’ve moved a couple times and had to CHANGE numbers or missed payments. I give out my GV number and just install the app on the new phone. If you look for other apps like GrooVe IP or Talkatone, you can use GV on a phone with NO SERVICE! Can someone say FREE PHONE SERVICE! (As long as your in Wifi) I don’t know what the people commenting BELOW did, but I’ve used GV for YEARS now with MINIMAL problems FOR FREE! As far as MMS goes… that IS spotty… seems to only work if it’s an iPhone user sending the image and the image is sent to the e-mail attached to the GV number instead of a text. But you probably already GET your Gmail on your phone ANYWAY!
Good Free texts able to receive text notification with galaxy s4. No pic message. Calling not free. Able to forward texts to other numbers. Overall really good.
Google is Awesome! I use Google Voice as my primary voicemail service. What I would like to see in a future update is. 1.) the ability to save or forward my voicemail. 2.) Better notification there are times that I don’t see a message until I open the app. Even though its running in the background.
