LoopStationLoopStation turns your Android device into a musical instrument.

Record your own sounds / voice and combine them into one big symphony with this looper / loop station.

Do what you would want to do with a real physical looper. Make your own music by beatboxing, singing or by playing around with your instruments!

Start this looper by recording the basetrack or start up the metronome to help you with timing.

Every next recording will be an overdub of the basetrack.

Add reverb, change volume, adjust the position… it’s all possible! When you are done, make a single track of your loop by recording a session.

Then share this session with all your friends and fellow musicians by sharing it with the other apps you have on your phone (Facebook, WhatsApp, SoundCloud, Mail, etc…).

FAQ
1. Calibration does not work as it is supposed to work.
Make sure you are in a silent area, no headphones are connected and that your volume is on 100%.

2. How do i delete a track?
You can delete a track by dragging it to the bottom of the screen. A ‘drop’-field will appear in which you can drop your track.

3. I want to share my loops
Loops can be saved and loaded on your own device, but they are not shareable. With the premium upgrade you can record a session, these sessions can be shared with other apps you have on your device (WhatsApp, SoundCloud, Mail, etc…).

Cool thing, works well for me. Feature-request: Mute-toggle-bars in tracks, that toggle the mute state when the cursor runs past them. =) Edit: yes you have this for the whole track at the end of the bar, but when I run around during the day recording samples for my next loop in the city I would love to be able to cut out some things in between… Or just to do basic cutting of tracks in general… Or to import samples from an app that can do that.

  • Thanks! In the Pro upgrade you can enable to mute a track when the loop starts over. Is this what you mean?
Simply not clear. How do i edit a track? Am i psychic? Where is the user guide? thankyou for your response zuidsoft. i looked at the video at the top of the page, which demonstrated the app but does not explain its use. it takes several seconds for a guitarist to transfer his hands from the touch screen to the strings. so i would want to trim the clip. many anddroid apps feature a drag function to reset in and out points, enabling a trim. how is this done on your app? thanks

  • The first recording can be edited (when not using the metronome). Some ‘hands’ will show up at the sides which you can drag. Another solution is to enable the metronome and wait for the count in of the metronome. Check it out and let me know what you think of it.
I really enjoy the app but I really wish that Zuidsoft would create a small and easy guide to fully utilize this app. I only know how to add a track. How do I add effects? Can I loop more than 6 sounds? If yes please help. I love to make music with this app. Just teach me!

  • With the pro upgrade you can add reverb effect. You can do that by double tapping on a track. Merging is also available with the Pro upgrade. You can then drag and drop your track on the track you want to merge with. Let me know how it goes!
